For the longest time, I was obsessed with fulfilling my potential. I  watched numerous YouTube videos read lots of personal development books, followed the law of attraction, and even got started with 2 businesses but never just found my mojo. Have you ever done that?

Nothing got me so excited that I couldn’t sleep at night until I discovered a training platform called Wealthy Affiliate and started my blog in 2020 around the topic of Personal Development.

How my blog changed my vision

Having started my blog, my eyes were opened to the opportunity to share what I was learning with others. I mean, surely there are hordes of other people looking for a way out of their day jobs? What if I could take them with me! It was like someone lit a fire under me and I was EXCITED!

I had previously been involved in Network Marketing and tried to set up a blog on my own but got totally stuck and the only help that I could find was going to cost $75 per hour which I couldn’t afford.

In any case, that was not what I was looking for – I needed someone to show me what to do because it was highly likely that I would get stuck again! I ended up giving up on that website and took the decision to switch from Network Marketing (after 10 years!) to Affiliate Marketing.

I figured that there must be so many people stuck with their websites, that the very least I could do was share what is available as far and wide as possible. The free training at Wealthy Affiliate would have got me unstuck!

 

 

Escaping my job helping others

Furthermore, now that I am involved in the Wealthy Affiliate community, I can see that not only is it possible to escape my day job (which I am very lucky and grateful to have right now!), but I can help others at the same time.

Unlike in Network Marketing, while I am grateful I did it and met so many wonderful people, I am not relying on anyone else’s performance for my success. It is 100% down to me.

 

Empowerment, not charity

It’s hard to imagine a time when so many people were in need – not of charity but of empowerment. With so many jobs lost and incomes cut, not to mention the people who want to leave their jobs and live life on their own terms, I have an absolute duty to share the message.

With determination and this incredible training and support, anyone with a computer and internet access can start their own successful business and would be delighted for you to join me on the journey. Even if you choose to go it alone, I hope you will find the content valuable to you on your own journey.
